Four All-Natural Fall Soaps I Made for My New Shop

Autumn Woods handmade soap with autumn-themed label on rustic wooden surface

There’s a moment, standing at the bathroom sink in October, when the bar of soap in your hand suddenly decides whether the evening feels like fall or not. I know this sounds small. It isn’t.

A few weeks ago I made four new all-natural fall soaps for my new shop, The Artsy Botanical — and they are now available. Each one is cold-process, made with olive oil, coconut oil, avocado oil, shea butter, and cocoa butter, scented with 100% natural essential oils, and colored with 100% natural colorants. No synthetic fragrance, no mystery dyes. Just ingredients you can read and say out loud.

What makes a fall soap actually feel like fall

Here’s what I tell my clients when we talk about the little rituals that carry us through a season: scent does the heavy lifting. A fragrance you associate with a moment — cider, woodsmoke, a kitchen where pie is in the oven — tells your body it’s time to slow down before your calendar does.

That’s the whole design logic behind this collection. I wanted soaps you’d reach for the moment the air turns, not soaps that just happen to be orange.

Autumn Woods

Green Autumn Woods soap topped with calendula petals, naturally colored with French green clay

The one that smells like a walk in the trees after rain. Essential oils of tangerine, orange, cedarwood, vetiver, and benzoin — a natural resin with a soft, vanilla-like warmth. It’s colored green with French green clay and topped with calendula petals.

If you want your autumn to feel quiet and green-gold instead of loud, start here.

Pumpkin Pie Spice

Yes, I went full pumpkin pie. Orange, benzoin, copaiba, cinnamon, clove, and ginger essential oils, with ground vanilla beans stirred through the whole batter and a sprinkle of cinnamon and clove on top. It’s the scent of a kitchen in October, translated into a bar of soap.

Harvest Cider

Harvest Cider soap in warm orange tones, finished with a dusting of cinnamon

My favorite of the four, and I’ll say that as the person who poured it. Juicy, sweet cider notes — orange, litsea cubeba, fir, cedarwood, patchouli, and cinnamon. Naturally colored with paprika, orange peel powder, and annatto seed powder, and finished with a dusting of cinnamon.

Harvest Cider is the bar I keep by the kitchen sink. The kitchen has never smelled quite like this before, and I’ve noticed.

Cozy Cashmere

The most decadent of the bunch. Loaded with cocoa butter — which gives it part of its scent on its own — along with vetiver, palmarosa, cocoa absolute, and tonka essential oils. Ground vanilla beans are mixed through and sprinkled on top.

This is the one I reach for at the end of a long day. It smells like a cashmere sweater with a campfire memory attached.

The Confidence Formula: Clean skin + a scent that means something to you = a small ritual that makes the whole evening feel intentional.

Where to get them

All four are available now in my shop, The Artsy Botanical. It’s a brand-new shop, so it starts with these soaps — I’ll be adding other natural products as they’re ready. If you want to see what’s next in the making, follow along on Instagram or Facebook.

A note from Isabelle

I used to buy the trend first and ask questions later. These soaps were made in the opposite order: I knew the feeling I wanted — slow, warm, a little golden — and then I found the oils to get there. I’d love to hear which one you’d take home first. Write to me at isabelle@glamourandstylestudio.com — I read every note.

Until next time: style isn’t about becoming someone else. Sometimes it’s about choosing the thing that already feels like you — even in a soap dish.
